Vaginal prolapse surgery

I am 59 years old with one child born 25 years ago. I am menopausal and came off HRT last year after 10 years of trouble-free use of it. Since then my prolapse symptoms have worsened and I am scheduled for surgery on Tuesday 7th August. The surgeon is confident this will restore normal bowel function and allow my sex life to resume.
