Hi, in order to see if you really have a bladder which has dropped the specialist to see is a uro-gynecologist. This is a new specialist who is a urologist and a gynecologist. They examine you lying down and also STANDING.

I had a dropped bladder repaired in June of this year and I am 1000% better. It is amazing how much better I am. Get yourself to several specialists and then get informed. If you are near the Phila area I could help with the name of a specialist.

I am sorry I did not have the repaid done sooner.

Good luck

Thank you, I am not from the US i am from England. We don't have access to the doctors we want to choose we have to get referred by the GP but the GP os not really listening to me so i don't know what to do next, it is now startingto bleed.
Thankyou you are the only one who has replied and i have been checking every day.
take care i am glad your op has sorted you out. I don't think it is the bladder but i think it is either the cervix or the rectocele.
take care

I really think that you should take your husbands advice and go the the accident and emergency department. Why are you putting yourself through this torture maybe just maybe you will get the help at the hospital. Do not let fear get in the way of your health and don't forget that this is not about you alone it it about your husband and the kids. So please go to the a and e.

Based on what you have described, it sounds like you have a cystocle, the vaginal wall that is shared w/ the bladder weakens and the vaginal wall gives way to the bladder wall that sags in to the top part of the vagina. When your bladder is full it may be visible as a bubble beginning to protrude out of the vagina and is very similar to a hernia, especially when you are sitting down on a toilet. A gyn doctor typically will ask you to "bear down" and push hard and this should reveal the "bulge". I would recommend seeing a urogynocologist for your condition.
