Please can someone rell me more about vaginal prolapse?Hi, I'm turning 26 soon and was wondering if sex after surgery for vaginal prolapse both Rectocele and Cystocele 3rd degree is like? I want to know the success rate after surgery to fix this, what it is like after surgery, can I deliver vaginal children if fixed or not fixed, will this effect me having anymore children, if I can still have children will C-section be the only option and what ever advice and or personal experiences from women with this. Nurses who know more about this would be great to answer about this. I see my OB/GYN in a few months to check if there are any improvements and then again a few months after that followed by discussing possible surgery. Will sex be very painful? I have only had sex once since this has happened to me and it felt weird, slightly painful and not sure if it will be more painful next time because it was very quick. I have been afraid to have sex again because it might hurt. I have yet to have the surgery and this just happened to me after having my 2nd child end of June this year. I do not know anyone who has gone through this and I have yet to hear of women my age with this problem. From what I have heard statistically most women are in their 40's or have had multiple childbirths (more than 2), and or have had children very close together in age, I have had multiple pregnancies which have ended in miscarriage and 1 ectopic due to infertility/medical probs and have a 4 1/2 year old and a 1 month old and I tore with both children and needed stitches to repair my perineum tears. Could my surgery for ectopic and and my D&C's for miscarriages effected me? I still want to have 1- 2 more children and I am worried I will not be able to! So basically I could use all the advice, support and comfort I can get!
Re: Please can someone tell me more about vaginal prolapse? Can any of you ladies please tell me if you have to wait to get surgery after your done having children or if you can do it before that? Can someone w/the types of Vaginal prolapse & severity of mine still conceive a child with this problem? I'm just curious if this effects having future children. I know this post is about sex, but no one replies me on the posts I put up for diffent questions.
Is this site not very active? I have read old posts on this site and have not seen much recent activity.
