probable prolapse - ovarian cancer survivor

Post a new topicby yogeswari on Sun Dec 09, 2007 11:28 am

hi friends,

all physical indications are i've got some kind of prolapse. i'm a 13 year ovarian cancer survivor, had a laparoscopically-assisted vaginal hysterectomy/oophrectomy 12 years ago at dx for recurrence. my question is about what kind of physician i should consult. my gynecologic oncologist manages my regular care with annual visits. should i see her first, or try to find a urogyn?

many thanks,

Hi, I am not qualified to say but from all the reading I have done on this subject (I am new to prolapse myself) you need a good urogynocologist.

I wish you all the best.
