Re: the pain!Hi,
I have the same situation like your. I'm a 41 old and I have 2 kids already. I started to notice my issue when my left testicle would get numbness and pain. Sometime it will radiate down to my left leg. I went to see my urologist and he told me that I have Varicocele and don't need to do any surgery yet. Only if infidelity is an issue. It really bothers me when I'm sitting down. I'll wait to see how much longer I can deal with this before going back to tell him to do the surgery.
Re: the pain!Hey man I'm also 28 and have a similar past and present. Started feeling temporary annoying pains down there when I was 15, and 3 times in my life I've had excruciating pains that laid me out and lifted all of a sudden after about 1-2 hours.
This last time, instead of going away, the pain just kind of lingered annoyingly whenever I walk around or exert myself. My scrotum is swollen and tender. I thought it was hernia or Intermittent Testicular Torsion, but they did an ultrasound on me recently and said it was varicocele and "no big deal." I haven't seen a urologist yet, but I would definitely suggest getting a surgery if it's interfering with your life. The doctors will understand if you're in pain and need it taken care of. If you have insurance or are covered in some other way, go for it.
