Varicocele

Anyone whos had the surgery how long till the varicocele or bag of worms goes away and does it go back to normal or will I alway feel something in my scrotum

I had the surgery and over time my varicele became smaller but the is still a mass of tangled viens. I have had a varicocele sine 20 and had it corrected when I was 30 and I am know 51 and the bag of worms is still there.
