Several Questions

Post a new topicby x296 on Sun May 31, 2009 8:17 pm

I was diagnosed with a varicocele in my only testicle; I lost the other one to cancer. So I have several questions that my urologist didn't give clear answers to.

1.) Can it go away on it's own? I'm not crazy about having another surgery in my groin region.

2.) If I do leave it and just deal with the minor pain, what's the likelyhood that it'll get worse and to the point that it would do damage to the testicle? How long does it usually take for damage to occur? I had a semen analysis done and the counts were all good.

Thanks for any help,

You may be able to simply manage this without surgery. The only way I would had surgery is if the gland seems to becomeing smaller. As far as pain goes try horse chestnut extract as well as butchers broom. This actually works better than Tylenol or Advil. You can buy it at a vitamin store.
