Vasectomy Reversal

Hi! My husband and I just married in July of 2007! Together, we have a total of 4 children from our previous marriages! We decided that we would like one of our own, and had a vasectomy reversal It has been 8 years since the vasectomy We are only 2 months post op VR and haven't had his lab work done yet, we will go in September. What should we expect for this first analysis and count? I am so frustrated wondering if pregnancy will occur, and reading success stories of others seems to give me alittle more confidence. If his count is low, is this normal for the first analysis, and what are the chances of it getting better with time? I just feel like we may end up disappointed and I guess I am needing some reassurance that it can happen. Thank you for letting me vent my frustration.
