Restrictions to having vasectomy

Are there any reasons why a doctor would not allow you to have a vasectomy My husband and I are considering this as an option. We are both 29 and only have 1 child but do not want to have any more children. With tubal ligations it is usually stressed that you should be of a certain age and have atleast 2 children. Is this the case with vasectomies?
