Vasectomy

I have been trying to get a vasectomy in northren Colorado for some time now and every urologist i contact regarding this says im to young and will not even go into a consoultation with me.

Iam 20 years old and i understand some people will ultimately regret a vasectomy and that iam somewhat young. I however beleive fully that i do not want children and am getting a bit frustrated about the fact that i am unable to receive a procedure do to someone elses belifs regardless of the fact that iam the primary person the procedure will affect. I guess my main question is if there are any urologist in the state of colorado willing to do a vasectomy on a 20 year old. My second question is why is it such a difficult task to find a doctor willing to work on a 20 year old?

In my mind it would be worse for someone who doesnt want children to accidently have them then someone who doesnt want children changing theyre mind later. We all want diffrent things out of life the american dream is a vague and does not mean the same thing to everyone.

Condoms are 97% effective (not sure where i got that number but i have seen it a few places) Birth control is something men really have no control over and have to go off the word of whoever they are with.

There are not a whole lot of options for men who know they dont want children and non of them are 100% effective but vasectomy is the most effective and also considered safe.

Iam not married i have no kids I have been in a monogamous relationship for 2 years and we both do not want children and i know even if we seperated i would still not want any children. However no doctor will even see me for a consoultation.

So if you are or know a urologists in the area of northren colorado who would be willing to work with a 20 year old let me know. thanks in advance.

Vasectomies were usually not done under the age of 25 years (in Europe they usually won't to it under the age of 30).
