Hardness at bottom of left testicle

Post a new topicby pascorpio on Tue Jun 03, 2008 3:17 pm

Two days ago, during masturbation, I discovered a hardness at the bottom of my left testicle. I examined it again yesterday, after relaxing in a warm bath. Seems to be a cord-like hardness at the bottom, with little to no pain/sensitivity. I have a PSA re-check appointment scheduled in about 6 weeks. Is this something that should be seen immediately, or can it wait until then. Embarassed to say, I had been engaging in a little ball torture, slapping of my testicles during sex during the past 2 months or so. Honestly can't say if this occurred after this activity, because of it, or if it's something totally independent of above-stated activity. Even though I noticed this recently, I'm not sure how long it has existed. Any information you can give me will be greatly appreciated. (I have stopped the activity in question, by the way!)

I am the writer of the above topic. Saw my Urologist yesterday for my PSA test result and mentioned this to him. He examined both testicles and said they are perfect. I was probably feeling the Epididymis, the hard covering over part of the testicle, so nothing to worry about. I was also feeling a dull pain in the left-groin area, with pain radiating to my left leg, at times, and sensitivity of the left testicle. He concluded that it is probably from bending, twisting, and turning, all work-related activites, and to take OTC meds such as Advil, Aleve, etc., non-aspirin pain-relievers, hot compresses would help, as would soaking in a warm bath. Hopes this helps anyone who may be experiencing what I have been experiencing.
