Bladder Cancer

I just had my 2nd surgery I was 9months clean then found 2 small tumors.I ask my Dr is the chances get greater of spreading into other parts of body if it keeps returning, i feel as if she dont tell me or maybe i dont understand.Also its been 3 week and i have a bad pain or urge at the end of going P I went to post op she did not seem to worry she did say it could be because she cortized(sp) a lot of my bladder.So if anyone could please give any info please Thanks SheilaC

I myself haven't experienced what you are going through, but I know with the experience with my Mom, she has gone thru the pain and scrapings, that have caused the bladder irritation. She, and i was very concerned of spread due to her first diagnosis of bladder cancer was about 14 years ago and went into remission and then when she was having problems again in the last two years, she didn't go back to the doctor right away, my concern was spread. And In February of 2008 she seen a doctor, and went thru BCG and in the fall, the tumors were still there so she has just had her bladder removed in November 2008. When they removed her bladder, they found no spread, what a relief! Just talk to your doctor and be specific. That is what they are there for, to answer questions, even if it seems irrelevant-ASK! And if you feel like there's this need to seek another doctor's intelect-don't hesitate-sometimes that gut feeling is there for a reason.
